Lucas is an Associate in the Corporate Law department at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP. After completing a summer internship and his articles with the firm in 2024, Lucas was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2025 and returned to Hummingbird as an Associate.
Lucas earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law after obtaining his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from City, University of London, where he graduated with First Class Honours. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western University.
At Hummingbird, Lucas’s practice focuses primarily on Corporate Law, assisting clients with business incorporations, corporate reorganizations, and share and asset purchase transactions. He also works with clients on a variety of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and other business contracts. Lucas approaches his practice with a focus on precision, responsiveness, and practical solutions that align with his clients’ objectives. He aims to simplify complex processes, providing strategic guidance that helps clients achieve their goals efficiently and confidently.
Outside of the office, Lucas enjoys camping trips, trying new foods, and cheering for his favourite sports team: the Toronto Maple Leafs.
