Alissa N. Winicki

Alissa N Winicki wills and estates lawyer Toronto

Alissa is an Associate Lawyer with the Hummingbird Lawyers Wills & Estates practice group.

For the past seven years, Alissa represented clients within a multitude of legal areas, including succession planning, estate administration and litigation, family law, and civil and commercial litigation. Having studied in England, where trust law originated, her practice streamlined naturally to estates where she now specializes.

Alissa’s passion for helping others manifests through her zealous advocacy, whether at the Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court of Appeal, or various boards and tribunals. She is sympathetic, meticulous, and relentless, in the way her clients want and need.

Alissa’s estates work consists of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney for Personal Care and Property, Protecting Vulnerable Persons, Estate Administration, and Estate Litigation. Particularly, her litigation practice centres on Will challenges, passing of accounts and objections thereto, entitlement of common-law spouses, constructive trust claims, and dependent support.

Outside of the office and courtroom, Alissa enjoys an active life that encompasses riding her motorcycle, reading, making beer, art/painting, and ultimate frisbee.
