Ankur Narula, corporate lawyer

Ankur is an Associate Lawyer in the Corporate/Commercial , Real Estate and Entertainment divisions at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008 after attaining his business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Business and Economics in 2005.

Having a strong assortment of business experience, Ankur has developed an acumen for corporate/ commercial law. He has helped develop business strategies together with their legal implications for a variety of local and national businesses. He has significant experience in negotiating and drafting a wide variety of matters ranging from shareholders agreement to corporate acquisitions.

Specifically, he has a passion for helping start-ups get off the ground. He also dedicates a significant amount of his time working with technology companies and filmmakers. With years of formal business training, he is able to bridge the gap between a legal and business framework when communicating with his clients.

His corporate practices include mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, reorganizations, shareholder agreements, commercial leases, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, and other commercial contracts.

In conjunction to his passion for corporate/commercial law, Ankur has represented clients in various real estate matters. These range from simple residential transactions to more complex commercial matters.

When not practicing, Ankur is can be found at a movie theatre, a play, a concert, learning about new technologies, reading a new book, writing the next “bestseller,” or discovering a new business venture.
