Neil La Marca
Neil La Marca is an Associate at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP and a member of the firm’s Wills and Estates group. His practice focuses on estate planning and administration and estate litigation.
Neil prepares wills, trusts and power of attorney documents with thoughtfulness, detail and care, ensuring each document reflects the unique needs and objectives of his clients.
As part of Neil’s estate litigation practice, he represents clients in disputes involving wills, powers of attorney, guardianship matters and dependent support claims. Neil brings a practical, empathetic and solution-oriented approach to resolving sensitive and complex estate matters.
In addition to his practice in wills and estates, Neil has extensive experience in tax law. He has represented clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and has advocated matters before the Tax Court of Canada. Neil has a strong interest in the use and taxation of trusts and advises clients on tax-efficient strategies for estate planning.
Outside of the office, Neil enjoys playing sports, cooking and gardening.
